On September 4, 2007, the Patchogue-Medford
Congress of Teachers, the Patchogue Lions Club and Mission Foods joined
together to donate backpacks filled with school supplies to the Patchogue-Medford School
District. This joint
effort has been happening for the past 6 years and
benefits children within the
school district’s seven elementary schools.
