Cheryl is about to start her sophomore year at Siena College in Loudonville, NY. She is currently studying Computer Science and Psychology. This summer Cheryl interned at Orion Systems Group in Ronkonkoma, NY. Orion Systems Group specializes in the development and support of administrative and billing software for school districts, teachers, and agencies serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. She spent the summer modifying internal software and database programming. The project she worked on was recently implemented for company use. Cheryl has already been asked to return next summer as a second year intern.

While at Patchogue-Medford High School Cheryl took many AP classes, including AP Computer Science and AP Calculus. She was a member of the girls varsity track and cross country teams for two years. She also played clarinet in the Wind Ensemble and was a member of the Leo club. At senior awards night Cheryl received a PMCT Scholarship. PMCT is thrilled to see her putting her education to such good use!!
